My Biography

An original, Charlotte Schlink & family moved to Hidden Valley in 1971 when the subdivision was in its infancy. With only 12 homes in the area, she & her husband, Jerry, had free run of the neighborhood and closely watched the development grow from an area of part time residents to its status today of a premier full time community.

When she first moved to Lake County, Charlotte decided to leave the teaching field to become a full-time educator of buyers and sellers. "When my kids were small, I needed to work, but didn't want to be away from them as much as a full-time teaching job would have demanded." So she got her real estate license to help sell Hidden Valley Lake lots on Saturdays and Sundays. Nearly 36 years later Charlotte knows almost everyone by name in the community which has grown to over 2254 full-time families.

As the founding member of House of Realty, Charlotte is well-versed and uniquely qualified in every aspect of real estate sales and she maintains a quiet calm about her in even the most difficult transactions. With the unprecedented growth over the past few years due to the increased pressure from the Bay Area for affordable housing, Charlotte approaches her job daily with the same excitement and vitality she had over 3 decades ago.
